Where is my Easter Egg?????

Over the next three weeks, I will be engaging in the production of several occasion cakes haha.

The first one is for a wedding on Saturday, the 13th of April, the finished cake will be travelling to Leeds for the wedding of an acquaintance who will pick it up on Friday ahead of its journey.

This means that I will have to make sure that it is securely boxed and that all its bits and bobs are in place and won't fall off in transit.

Then the following week, I will be making another occasion cake for Robyn's 9th birthday and will be getting up close and personal with Ronaldo haha all be it only a 3 inch model of him haha. Then of course a few cakes etc for my bit of a do.

Last Sunday was Easter Sunday, and bless my family and friends they decided that I didn't need Easter Eggs (WHAT!!!! Who made that decision haha) but they did come and spend the day with me and brought me a lovely plant, which is not edible haha.

So both of my children and their children landed at the Jungalow for a traditional Easter Sunday Lunch. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was so nice to get them all together under one roof. I may have gone a bit overboard with the table decoration but it all turned out fine.

Over the years my trusty E111 Medical card has always been in my documentation along with my passport when I have travelled. It was a couple of weeks ago that Sarah pointed out that this card had been superseded and that a new GHIC card is now required and it would seem a necessity for travelling into Europe. With that in mind, I applied for the new card which came a few days later, so I am now all set for my Solo foray to Santorini. But I guess if any of you are off to European destinations in the summer you will need to get onto changing your old E111 card out for the new one.

I was reading an article on Pinterest the other day about DIY eye cream.

Now probably like a lot of you, I spend a fortune on creams and potions to help halt the march of time.

It is good marketing to be sure which is aimed at parting gullible purchasers from their money, don't get me wrong I count myself as very gullible in this regard.

Anyway back to the article. In it, they were talking about making your own cream for a fraction of the cost and with only natural ingredients. All very interesting.

So I purchased the two ingredients which were required and made some eye cream. I have to say I have been using it for a couple of days and my eye area does feel soft and less puffy. So what is this supposedly magic cream made of? Well here is the recipe:-

Ingredients

  1. 1 tbsp of coconut oil (cheaply bought from Amazon - comes solid in a jar)

  2. 10 drops of Vitamin E oil

Method

Melt the coconut oil for one minute in the microwave and then add the drops of Vitamin E. Place into small jars and that folks is it haha. I will let you know how it is working, and of course, if it is working next week. If anyone wants to try it I have already got a good few jars made up. All I ask is the cost of postage if I am sending it out in the post.

Now for another snippet of mindless information. Of course, it is not just aimed at men but I guess having a naked lady in the shower might detract away from the information which the poster is trying to impart haha.

Can you find the chef's wristwatch?
