This is getting beyond funny now. It's like having my arms cut off, I have not been able to access the internet all day again!!!!!.
So this afternoon I did some self-diagnostics, turned the router on and off diagnostic complete haha. Then rang Virgin Media to see if they could help, got a message to say that there was a problem within my postcode and that it would be sorted before 10 o'clock tonight.
Needless to say, it was repaired before then as I am sitting here at 16.40 writing the blog.
Well, today has been full-on, starting with the school run this morning and the realisation that I had lost my purse, with, might I add, all of my plastic world contained therein. I retraced my movements from the last time I had seen or used it and concluded that it must be at mums. A quick call there this morning to see how she was and to see if my purse was there. Do you know that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach, well I had that this morning when said purse was not a mums.
I rushed back home resigned to the fact that I would be onto the bank cancelling my world. On the way home I reassessed my movements from yesterday and had one place to look back at the Jungalow before the bank was called. Yea, my purse had fallen off the chair arm and had been kicked under the table, so panic over.
So after the excitement of the miss-placed purse, I headed off to the Backwell Grange Hotel to meet up with Rita.
We were meeting up with the events organiser ahead of our Gang Christmas Party on Monday. We were there to finalise the bill and look over the room and decide the best way forward to make the evening a success whilst being very mindful of the current covid guidelines.
I have to say it all went very well and we left very satisfied that we are in for a really good night as safe as we can make it. As you can see from the lovely Rita the hotel is well dressed for the season.
My next port of call this morning was the hairdressers at 11 o'clock. So a couple of hours later I emerged with a tamed bob and a refreshed colour just in time for the festivities.
A quick run around the island at the Jungalow and a spot of lunch and I was on the road yet again. This time I was at another hairdressers having my eyelashes permed. So no false eyelashes for me this Christmas. I have to say the process is so easy but the results are amazing.
So tonight I am going down to Sarah's to sleep as she and Lee are off up to Edinburgh for an overnighter. I know that I have a game of Jumanji lined up with my grandsons so all is well.
