The weekend is nearly over and the upcoming week is looming.
I am nervous for Harry as his SATs start tomorrow, I only hope that some of the things I have been teaching him over the last 10 weeks have gone in and he will look at the papers over this week and say to himself, I remember nana teaching me this and realising he can do it.
Over the next 2 weeks, I am overseeing the SATs for the Yr6 and Yrs2 at Polam Hall, starting tomorrow.
So it will be a quick drop off for the boys at school tomorrow and then I will be shooting off to Polam.
I will be doing Monday and Wednesday for the next 2 weeks.
I had another relaxing day in the garden. After my hostessing duties were done I managed to get another 3 hours in the garden.
I have to say the borders are nearly there, and I can now concentrate on filling in gaps left by the bluebells and forget-me-nots.
Of course, the amount of weeds particularly Ground Elder I have taken out is unbelievable for so early in the season. I even began to handpick the bluebell leaves out of the Campanula ground cover cushions, but it was the only way so as not to disturb them too much.
The Jungalow is living up to its name at least in the mini beast and small animal categories haha. As well as birds and the cute little mouse I reported on yesterday. This beautiful whopper of a bee was buzzing around me as I weeded this afternoon.
So that's it folks another none descript day in the Jungalow haha.
