Wallpaper challenge

At this moment in time, I love it when I can echo what the minion meme is saying today.

Now you would think that being retired I would have forgotten what an alarm clock looks like - oh no not a bit of it - with the reinstating of the school runs every day I have had to dust off the alarm on my phone.

However, since it is Friday and tomorrow is Saturday - NO ALARM for me yay.

Even though Robyn and Dominic are coming to sleep over tonight, I still will not have to put on an alarm as the little darling sleep late - bless them. I think it was around 10 o'clock last time they had a sleepover before they woke up haha.

This morning we had a trilogy of shops on the agenda before Aldi so I am whacked this afternoon. The mother unit thought it would be fun to do some acting when she tried on a Halloween hairband, but actually, she looks like she has just fallen asleep, but full marks for trying haha. For your information Christmas (which is only 85 sleeps away, 12 weeks for those who don't do sleeps) has landed at The Range. What an amazing array of wreaths, trees, ornaments, lights etc for the Christmas season. Of course, I had to purchase a few bits for the tree, well you have to haven't you?

I have decided that I am going to redecorate the chimney breast in my lounge. Now the Scandie style paper that is currently on there is fine but I am having a problem with the oak fire surround I put in. So what is wrong with the fire surround, well the best guess is that it was made with green oak and over the space of the two and half years it has been in it has shrunk. Yes, as much as 3/4 of an inch all around and the mantel shelf has buckled a little. Since the people who made it have since gone out of business I have no recourse. So the perfectly fitting wallpaper now looks as though it has shrunk so new paper is in order. I have selected several to mull over and if you have any comments or preferences I would love to hear them.
