Unwanted lodger!!!!!!

On Saturday afternoon I was merrily minding my own business waiting for Sarah to bring Leighton for his reading session.

However, when they arrived this black and white cat had attached itself to them and as they opened the door it shot in the Jungalow and flew up the stairs.

Sarah and Leighton thought it was hilarious and followed it upstairs to retrieve it. We put it out and I thought nothing about it until it was time for them to go home, as soon as they opened the front door it shot in again. Once again it was retrieved this time from under the dining room table and put outside.

But, unbeknown to me, after they had gone I found that it had taken up residence on my front door mat. I eventually snook out my back door and went around the front of the jungalow and was able to ring its owners from the tag on its collar who came round to collect him. His owner told me that he was constantly picking the cat up from a wide variety of locations in the area. I just hope he doesn't come back haha. Leighton thought it was marvellous and was trying to persude me to keep him.

On Friday I attended my first U3A event. It was the monthly luncheon club. This time it was held in The Bay Horse at Middridge about a 3 minute drive from Ben's. So it was quiet fortuatious that Ben had asked me to sit on Frank for the morning, as I didn't have much of a journey to join the U3A group at the pub.

I was introduced to more of the members which is the whole aim of the exercise and had a really pleasant time.

For my meal I ordered Bao Buns filled with pulled pork with chips and salad very nice indeed and at £9 it was very reasonable.

Here is a pic taken down the private room we had showing that it was a healthy luncheon.

So all in all a reasonably quiet week for me.
