This morning I got up full of vim and vigour, I had thoughts in my head about the untidy state some of the rooms in the Jungalow were in, so that has been my mission today.
So far I have deep cleaned the kitchen and lounge, dusted the dining room but now that only leaves me the big-ticket items to do haha. I am having a sneaky black coffee before I gird my lions and launch into cleaning the inside of the car, the main bathroom, my bedroom and last of all the craft room which has seen some activity in the crafting department over the last few days and is there for in serious need of a sort out.
Last night I mentioned that I was going down to Sarah's for my dinner and to celebrate Dave the Labradors birthday. Well here are some pictures that you knew I would post haha of Dave enjoying his birthday treats.
Okay I went outside last night to take photos of the fairy lights whilst they were on and yes you guessed it the photographs are rubbish just black pictures with a few spots of light so I have taken another set just at dusk you can now get the gist of what they look like when it is pitch black.
So here is the nighttime pics so you can get the idea of where they are in the garden and the reason I included the dusk pictures haha.
This afternoon sees the start of my stint of house sitting whilst Sarah and her family head off to Legoland for a couple of days break. Last night I had a crash course on how to use their complicated TV system. How to put the halty on the dog so that he will walk calmly when I take him out for a walk (was that in the contract????) which animals to feed with what and when there are four of them after all. How to use the dishwasher and the kettle (yes the kettle) apparently it has a leak if you fill it up too much. How to use the stair gate (seriously). Where to put the hamster so it doesn't wake me up on its exercise wheel as it is nocturnal and lives in the bedroom I will be using. I tell you my head was battered by the time I came home. But I guess I will manage, she has just texted me a full breakdown of the feeding times and food each animal requires. Anyway, I hope that they realise the sacrifice I am making and enjoy their trip away haha.
