What's under the red cover?

It has been the most exciting day for a long time.

I woke up as normal to receive the grandsons for the morning school run. I think that tomorrow will be the last time I will be doing the morning run as Lee is now able to get his shoe on and can also drive after his bout of gout.

When I got back I had about 2 hours before I had to go off to the garage to pick up my new baby.

So what did I do in those 2 hours, well I started the process of building Dominic and Nikki's joint birthday cakes?

After the prep work was complete I couldn't do much with the cake until it had firmed up for at least 2 hours in the fridge. So I got ready and off I went to the garage.

When I got there my new car was not on the forecourt where I had expected it to be. On entering the showroom I could see a car at the far end completely covered with a shiny red cover. I am not joking I could scarcely contain my excitement. All paperwork was completed and exchanged the moment was upon us. I was asked to unveil the car, it is beautiful even if I say so myself. It has its DOT plates on and is set up and ready to go.

When I returned from the garage with my new prize I received an email from the Sales Manager thanking me for purchasing my car at Bristol Street Motors, which I thought was a very nice touch. I have to say that the whole experience was very good and made me feel special, something which the ford garage could most certainly take notice of.

If you remember last weekend I took Ben, Sarah and Nikki out for a meal and drinks, unfortunately, Lee was unwell so couldn't join us. I posted a lot of photos from that night but Ben sent me through a few more the other day which I want to share with you as I think they are great.

It shows a great shot of the food at the Tapas Bar and our pathetic efforts at the end of the night on the fire pit haha.

Tonight after school I will be accompanying Harry to his Basket Ball class, so that will be interesting. Actually, it is nice to see Sarah's boys actually taking part in some sort of sport. Unlike Bens two who are always doing something.
