I have to say I have been trying to go to bed earlier than usual, but it doesn't pan out that way.
I go to bed at a reasonable hour and then lay and read for ages which is defeating the going to bed early scenario completely.
The other night I watched tv in bed and then went to sleep had a great nights sleep and slept late.
Last night I read a book until late slept then woke up for the school run feeling like I had been pulled through a hedge backwards haha. So I guess the moral of the story here is don't read when you go to bed.
Got a phone call from the mother unit this morning at 11.45, she had just woken up and was mortified that she had slept away the whole morning. Apparently, her neighbour from over the road had clocked that her blinds and curtains were still closed and had come over to see if she was alright, if he hadn't I don't know how long she would have slept haha.
Tonight I have just finished a governing body meeting for Hurworth Primary School, whilst interesting enough I am finding it hard to muster the enthusiasm for the role. They were asking for volunteers tonight to take over the role of Chair and Vice-Chair, needless to say, I kept my head down and let others throw themselves in front of the bus. I feel that I have very little to offer this school, unlike Polam which is my other school. So I will be seeing out my term of office at Hurworth and then bowing out.
My webinar is coming up at 7 o'clock, I am so looking forward to it, So I will tell you on tomorrows blog what happened and if I was lucky enough to get my first sentence readout and critiqued by their editor.
