These are my current nails.
All me, not a false nail in sight.
I am very proud to have grown them long and they have been in this design since the 9th of June.
So why am I showing you nails that are weeks and weeks old?
Next week I will be going to the nail bar to have my holiday nails done. Probably with matching toes as well, very posh haha.
Well, I can no longer claim to have a complete set of natural nails, why not you may ask, well this afternoon, my Dot brain, kicked into overdrive and I had an epiphany.
I have been trying to give away the crazy paving path for two weeks now and no takers. So, I remembered Sarah suggesting that I reuse the stones to make a planter or something in the garden.
Well, that idea came back with force this afternoon when I decided that I would lift the path myself, I know crazy, and re-locate the stones making a herb garden. All sounds perfect so far, does it not, wrong!!!!! the stones were loose, good start, but extremely heavy. So lifting them was going to be a right challenge and moving them nye on impossible. So what has this got to do with my full set of natural nails, let me show you?
Ouch, I lifted a stone and then dropped it when I realised it was so heavy. Snapping the nail clean-off in the process. I have to say the air in the garden was blue and my nail and finger are really smarting right now. So my claim is shot and I will be getting one false nail fitted when I go to the nail bar next week.

Mum loves Strictly Come Dancing and was thrilled that Leanne took her there as a surprise to round off their little outing.
One of the Tower guards lead her around the dancefloor so that she could get a better flavour, which I thought was very kind.
No doubt when she comes for her tea with me tonight I will be getting blow-by-blow accounts of the trip to the seaside.
On a side note, back to the crazy path. I have ordered a dolly cart to help me move the stones from Mr Amazon which will be here by Friday so I guess I will sort out the Jungalow and my holiday packing in the meantime haha.
