Good morning everyone. Another day in Jungalow land has begun. Got a text message from Sarah at 7.50 saying that she would be dropping Leighton off at 8 for me to give him his breakfast and take him to school. I wasn't scheduled for this service this morning so I was still in bed and had to make a quick dive to get my clothes on before he turned up.
So child feed and his hair sorted we set off for school. Now with Harry still being ill Leighton was feeling a little vulnerable and asked if I would walk him into school. It was nice seeing his classroom I will return at the end of the day to pick him up.
So last night Sue and I wrapped mums new tv in a Christmas blanket and brought it into her house singing "We wish you a Merry Christmas" haha.
To say the mother unit was surprised and thrilled was an absolute understatement. She was even tempted to forgo our card game so that she could watch the new TV. Sue and I set it up for her and as we were leaving at 10 o'clock after our games she was heading into the lounge to watch Emmerdale haha.
Today I have been busy doing a few catch-up chores, as you do. Firstly I completed the Bowel Cancer Screen test I received in the post the other day and got that sealed ready for posting later on (not a nice job but an important one). I found a watch in the bottom of a box that I had forgotten about and decided to clean it up and put in a new battery. Didn't know if it would go but heyho it did. Tonight I am accompanying Sarah to the Mini Garage in Stockton to finalise the purchase of her new car. Later I will be looking after Leighton for an hour or so whilst Lee, Sarah and Harry go for a look around Hummersnott School ahead of filling in their preference for Secondary school for Harry next year. Also this afternoon I will be doing more Governor Training for Polam Hall School.
Today is my big boys birthday. He is 39 years old, how is that possible when I am only (tongue firmly in cheek) 25 years old myself haha. Anyway Happy Birthday son hope you have a good one.
Since I haven't updated you recently here is an important announcement, do with it what you will.
