Oh dear, this could have been me last night. As you know Wednesday in the Jungalow household is take your grandchildren to McDonald's night. Well, last night was no exception.
I feasted on chicken nuggets, my all-time favourite from Mcdonalds, and fries with a latte and the boys had cheeseburgers, fries and chicken nuggets. We sat in the car park to eat our foraged treasure as the inside of the restaurant is not very nice at the moment. It takes ages to get your order as the main focus is on all these take out deliveries for Just Eat that sort of thing, plus the drive-thru, so it is quicker to go through the drive-thru and then eat in the car park. After the boys had eaten their meal and fed the scraps to the army of seagulls I took the boys home.
Okay, this morning after the school run I decided that I would try out the new purple shampoo I bought at the hairdressers on Saturday. It went on as a purple lather and after letting it sit for 5 minutes I got in the shower to rinse it off. A quick blow dry later and I am super pleased that the brassy blonde has been toned down again. However, I still can't blow dry it as well as Mandy my hairdressers. When she dries it, it looks modern and chic but I always manage to make it look like a helmet haha. But the shampoo has made my hair super soft and shiny.
One of my pet hates is the non-appearance of tradespeople at appointments they themselves have made. This morning I was expecting Andy Bruce Windows to come and give me a like for like quote for a new front door. Last week I had Starlight Windows over. Well, I have just phoned them and was told that he had been, but I have been in all day and there has been no one at my door. So I have made a new appointment for tomorrow morning at 9.30.
I am looking forward to our Zoom meeting with the girls tonight, our GNI at 8.30. I will have taken Harry to basketball, Leighton home, mum to her sisters, had my tea a Sarahs and then back here for the GNI before heading out again to pick mum up at 9.45,
