Storm Barra - brrrr

That was defo me this morning.

I was listening to Radio Tees and they were doing their throwback section where they play classic and retro pop.

Well a record came on that I had not heard for literally years, and yes I sang along with it as if it had only been realised yesterday, with not one word wrong haha.

So the winds have gotten very strong over the course of this morning and now it is blowing a gale and lashing rain.

Rumour has it that we can expect snowfall as well from Storm Barra, so I am defo gearing up to add that extra pair of knickers as it is getting really cold.

This morning I was on a Vitamin B12 surgery run with the mother unit. Since the start of Covid mum has been getting her B12 in tablet form but I have to say they really don't suit her. She seems much better with the injections, so, we have finally persuaded her doctor to resume the injections. Hopefully, it might pep her up and stop her from sleeping so much.

After the doctors, we called in to see Dave at the cemetery. I hope you know me well enough by now to realise that the Jungalow has been Christmasified to within an inch of its life, so today I thought I would take a bit of tasteful Christmas to Dave. This will be my 4th Christmas without him, it doesn't get any easier but we move on.

Then of course there is always the worry I have peaked too soon, and Storm Barra will play silly buggers and roll the wreath to god knows were in the cemetery. I will give it a few days and then go and assess the damage.

So with the mother unit back from her travels, life gets back to its normal routine, so I will be in the chef seat again tonight and then we will be congregating around mothers bungalow to play our weekly game of cards. And just like that 3 weeks of respite has flown.
