Star Trek pub crawl....

Feeling more than a little delicate this morning after the night on the town.

Had a great meal at the Chinese restaurant having completed a mini pub crawl beforehand. When we came out we were walking back into town and we passed the Half Moon pub, now there are not many drinking emporiums in Darlington that I have never been in but this is one of them. To say it looks a little seedy from the outside was enough over the years to keep me from crossing its threshold. However, a couple of months ago Sarah and lee had been on what is called a Star Trek pub crawl with their next-door neighbours, which means that you boldly go where you haven't been before. Anyway long story short, I was propelled over the threshold into the Half Moon before you could say Southern Comfort and Lemonade. I have to report the pub is quaint and not at all what I thought it was going to be like. So in this instance looks can be deceiving. We ended the night in the market square before heading home. Sarah and Lee went back to their house and we headed back to mine. I think that last night we must have walked about 3 or 4 miles because this morning my knee is a bit grouchy haha. When we got back to mine we carried on our evening sitting in the back garden having gin and lemonades until about 2.30 this morning.

Today sadly is the one year anniversary of my dear sister Sandra's passing. You will always be in our thoughts little one, sleep on peacefully. Last night we talked a lot about Dave and the night he passed I think it was probably as it was on my mind about Sandra. We will be together at Susan's today and will no doubt talk about her. We were thinking of maybe doing the coffee morning fundraiser again as an annual event, but it is something we will need to discuss.

So I have had a lovely dinner at Sue and Jeffs, mum is very upbeat and seems okay about today. Sue is taking her to see Martin her nephew and his family this afternoon, I was invited but ducked out as I am tired after last night and just want to relax. When I pulled onto the drive I heard buzzing noises. On closer inspection, the Beautiful Budliea bush near my front gate had dozens of bees on it.
