Well, I have done it!!!!!!!
Last night I spent nearly an hour downloading 616 posted pictures of my cakes from one of my Facebook pages. I was telling Ben and Sarah that it was going to take my forever to clear
the stuff I wanted to save and was told that Facebook will zip all your pictures, post etc up for you to download. So this afternoon Ben showed me how to download all my information photos and conversations in a zip file and how to close my Facebook account.
I have to say I was in two minds whether I should do it. But it is now gone. I feel strangely liberated. Of course, it will take me a few weeks to get my mind around not visiting the page every day and wondering what people are up to, but at the end of the day if people want to contact me they have my phone number and email address so that will have to do.
My pink hair is a former shadow of its self and gets lighter and less pink with each successive wash. The time is com1ng up for another visit to the hairdresser so what colour am I going to plump for this time I wonder haha.
Someones knocking at my door, someones ringing my bell. Yes, indeed folks I have won the Postcode Lottery for the 2nd time this year. So what luxury car am I going to buy this time or which designer clothes or handbags will be wing my way. Well, I guess that I won't be getting much with my £10 win after all haha. Maybe it will be the big one 3rd time lucky, fingers crossed.
Had another successful visit from my gardener In today. He trimmed my bushes (ooh err misses haha) and cut the lawns. Very pretty and tidy indeed.
This afternoon I had a double whammy school run. I was booked to collect Robyn and Dominic from Aycliffe. Harry and Leighton were already coming from school to my house as usual. The plan was to take them all for tea at McDonald's. Over the last months on a Thursday, I have been taking Harry and Leighton for their teas and we have sat in the car and eaten our meals. Well, today there was five of us so we took a blanket and the kids had a picnic on the grass in front of my car, the fact that they were being dive-bombed by the seagulls didn't seem to phase them. And yes it is the middle of summer and Harry is wearing a winter coat. We have tried every means to get him to move to a lightweight coat but to no avail,
