I don't know if you have realised but if the Minion Meme fits my day I will comment on it first. So if you skip over the meme and go straight to the blog it will be somewhat confusing. When reading back the blog before publishing sometimes the first sentence sounds a little random but it is because I am answering the meme haha.
So, actually, I went to bed last night, wait for it, at 10.30, shocked amazement, and after only 5 minutes of reading, I fell asleep. I slept all night and woke feeling quite refreshed. However, I can relate usually to this meme as my sleeping habits are very erratic at the moment.
Anyway, I woke this morning with the realisation that this was the last school run morning and evening for the next 10days - yay baby, as next week is half-term holidays plus the teachers at Abbey, in Harry's words, are going back to school on Friday to learn something new to help us, CPD explained quite eloquently there Harry.
Imagine my surprise this morning when I looked out of my kitchen window to see the lawn had sprouted not one, not two, not three but four different varieties of wild mushroom. As I know very little about these fun- guys haha I will be leaving them well alone. But it seems such a waste. I will see if my gardener knows anything about them this afternoon.
Just had an urgent call from the mother unit, well she thinks it's urgent haha. She needs her bedroom curtains changing, I don't mind really because if I don't go round she will be up the ladders trying to do it herself, which for an 89-year-old is not a good idea. When I got to mums she was sat under the table unable to get up. She had not fallen but had decided that she would release the bolt for the hidden leaves of the table and couldn't get back up. Of course, I couldn't lift her so it took a further 20mins of manoeuvring around to get her upright.
So curtains are up medication for her trip to London sorted and I am now back home.
