Small world!!

Well to say it was strange waking up in not only a different bed this morning but a different house is an understatement. I had had to make an emergency evacuation of the bloody hamster in the early hours of this morning as it was driving me mad running hell for leather around its exercise wheel in the corner of the bedroom. I was very tempted to poke it awake this morning when I got up.

Anyway, with that taken care of, I had a reasonable night sleep haha. This morning the cat woke me up demanding ( very loudly for such a little cat) her breakfast.

Dog and cat attended to and I left the house at 10 o'clock to pick mum up to go shopping for our weekly food supplies.

On my return to Sarah's I collected the hamster from its bed and put it into the run Harry had made for an hour and then I took the dog out for a walk. Apparently, it was in the contract but very small writing.

Throughout the day Sarah has been sending me updates of their day in Legoland. I don't know what sort of ride this was but obviously, it was one where you go very wet haha. One text informed me that they had bumped into my nephew Mark, his partner Justine and their daughter Beatrice. Small world, I think.

Mum took Sue Jeff and me out for tea tonight. We went to the Copper Beech. I had heard it was okay so went with an open mind. I have to say the food was lovely. Mum, Sue and I had fish and chips with mushy peas and Jeff had cottage pie and chips. For dessert, we had creme brulee and twirl cheesecake. the whole bill for 4 of us including a round of drinks came to £49.50 which I thought was amazing value.

So thank you mum for a lovely tea.
