Should we build a snowman - Day 392

It was a very early start this morning. 7.30 I put my toe out of bed and it was freezing. But I had to brave the temperature as my builder was arriving at 8.30. I think I mentioned before it is not a good look to open the door in your nightclothes, and besides, if you had a door in your nightclothes it would be a) embarrassing and b) bloody cold haha.

I have spent part of the morning organising media for upcoming blogs. Photographs have to be individually compressed so that I don't eat up all of my space allocations. This has become necessary because as I found out to my cost a week ago I can't delete them from my blog cache as they disappear off the live blog. But some good stuff on the way haha (well I think it's good).

Over the weekend we have been having snow, hail, gales, so typical British weather lol. So this morning I woke to find yet another sprinkling of snow. Not enough to build anything with but just enough for me to start worrying about the plants I planted on Friday.

As predicted the builder has finished the lighting circuit and dropped the wires for my three fisherman lamps which will go over the middle of the island and the ring main with the new sockets. He has just told me that the boarding out will commence on Wednesday. This afternoon I have thoroughly enjoyed doing some research on suitable wall coverings for the new kitchen.

Introduced mum to slow-cooked jacket potatoes tonight. She was well impressed. Couldn't believe that you don't put any water in the pot haha.
