Well at the moment this could very well be me in a short period of time.
Having made or been persuaded to make some unfortunate choices in my dental care over the years I am now in the situation that I have no back teeth on the bottom so I am tending to eat like a rabbit at the moment. This is starting to wear my front teeth away, so I may be in line for some implants, but at the moment they are financially out of reach.
You see back in the day when you were pregnant you got free dental and were encouraged to have big fillings crowned. This made your teeth look good and healthy but over the years the 8 fillings I had crowned have failed hence the gaps I now have in my mouth.
So this morning I was visiting the lovely Kirsty to have my teeth professionally cleaned. It is a process I do every 3 months, as part of my Denplan policy. I always feel worse when smiling when I have been as she cleans every nook and cranny haha.
I returned at 12.00 to find Ben waiting like a little lap dog for his dinner haha. It was a nice al-be-it short-lived visit, but we made tentative plans to work on the drain smell which has reared its smelly head again in my kitchen.
One of the options we are trying is the purchase of a new dishwasher, I don't know if you remembered back when I had the kitchen moved from the original place to what was the dining room the joiner pulled the door off the dishwasher damaging the seals and it hasn't really functioned correctly since. So tomorrow A.O.com will deliver a sparkly new machine. If that doesn't work then we will have to find a way of accessing the suspended floor to check for leaks. The only problem with that is that the beautiful new LVT flooring is secured with special glue to the boards. So everyone cross your fingers and hope that the faulty dishwasher is the problem.
After Ben left I remembered that I should have been on some governor training haha, so I snook into the meeting on zoom and thought I had gotten away with my tardiness until the speaker stopped what she was doing and welcomed me to the meeting. It was interesting all about keeping children safe.
I have made 2 casseroles today, one chicken and veg and the other sausage and mushroom. Mum and I will have the sausage one for tea and then she can have a takeaway of the chicken one for her tea tomorrow.
So I will sign off today having enjoy such a glorious 11 degree temperature and sunny skies.
