Rose gold leaf and leopard spots

Well, true to form this morning I got up early to be ready for pick up at 8.30 by Sarah as we were off to have our nails renewed at the i-nails salon in the middle of town.

I have to say I was ready to leave by 8.20 but Sarah had slept in so she was very late. It was getting on for 9.10 before we were walking through the doors of the salon. Luckily it was really quiet this morning so we got straight in.

So what wonders did I go for this time? Well, first thing this morning my nails were bright pink and one full glittered nail but by the time I came out of the salon they were electric blue with rose gold leaf on them - love them. Sarah swapped her cowhide pattern for colourful leopard spots which were very pretty indeed.

Yesterday I mentioned that mum had been Christmas shopping, so today I have had the task of wrapping and labelling said presents before returning them to her. I then got roped into organising furniture and ornaments ahead of the decorator returning on Monday to begin the lounge.

This morning Sarah and I started to browse through a holiday brochure for next year. Hopefully, by August next year, there will be fewer problems about going abroad.

So we are looking to return to the Greek Islands again. We saw a lovely all-inclusive hotel with a water park for the boys on Crete that had the bonus of having free child places. So we have charged the travel agent to look into the availability at the times we are wanting to go. It will give us something to look forward to after such a horrible year and a half.
