What a full-on day I have had thus far today.
After taking the children to school I returned to finish the decorating of my bedroom wall.
I had left 2 strips of paper yesterday as I was pooped. So with fresh energy, I began again this morning.
By 10.45 I was ready to put the last 2 pieces of paper on.
The first one was no problem, the second one had to be shaped around the fitted wardrobes and the small piece at the top was horrendous to fit and took me 3/4 of an hour and 3 different sizes of ladders haha.
My trusty step ladders were fine for the majority of the wall but I couldn't reach the far corner of the wardrobe with them, so I tried another set a bit higher but not enough then out came the step ladders. Anyway, all is complete now and looking good. I only have 3 small Sam Toft paintings to put up behind the headboard and then I will be done.
So wallpaper up, furniture back, skirtings washed, everywhere hoovered and now began the mammoth task of ironing the 90 x 90 curtains and hanging them, the ironing of 8 pillowcases and the ironing of the new duvet cover. So it didn't surprise me that it was around 1 o'clock when I had finished haha.
So here is the finished project I have included the old bedroom for comparison, I am as proud as punch with the result. Next will be a bit of an overhaul of the Princess Tower ahead of my Brother and sister-in-law coming to see me at the beginning of June.

I am hopeful that I can find the time to go into the garden this afternoon. But having done 3 loads of washing as well this morning I still need to give the Jungalow a once over before heading out to Aycliffe to collect Dom and Robyn. Then later it is the Mother Units to take her to her Sisters, then Leighton Home and then onto Basket Ball with Harry, Robyn and Dom, before finally arriving at Sarah's for my tea phew I think I will be ready for it haha.
