Pounding the streets

This morning after I had taken the boys to school, I called for a coffee with my sister before heading off to Elmridge Church to collect some leaflets for Christmas activities at the church.

I had volunteered my services at the meeting the other night. Well, I set off at 11 o'clock to deliver Elton Grove, Elton Road, Cleveland Terrace, Westbourne Grove offshoot and Leconsfield Drive. Before returning home, I was amazed that it was 12.30 and I had racked up 7500 steps. Mind you my right knee and ankle could absolutely vouch for my excretions. It actually took me 25 minutes to get out of the grove as the number of neighbours who invited me in for a chat haha. Well, I reckon that is millions of saintly brownie points I have racked up this morning.

I was in Sainsbury's this morning also and I bought a nice outfit for Christmas day complete with a Christmas pudding hairband, very chic.

As promised here are a few photos from last nights wreath making masterclass. The ladies who attended thoroughly enjoyed the effort and went away with lovely deco wreaths. So onwards and upwards for next weeks class. If anyone wants to join I do have one space left for next Wednesday. Just let me know.

I am now off into the kitchen to cook the base chocolate cake and vanilla cake which will form the ball ahead of Harry's party on Sunday. The cakes need to be completely cool before I can ice them and need time for the fondant to set after I have iced them haha..
