Park the sequines

Oh, the luxury. I have just woken up and it is 10 past 9 whoopie.

I have nothing on the agenda until 12 o'clock today. So I am at this moment eating a bacon sandwich, the first since the 28th of May when I was in Southwell with my cruise friends, so somewhat of a treat.

Then the rest of this morning is going to be spent beautifying myself (you will need all of that time I hear you shouting lol) ahead of going out for Sunday Lunch.

It is actually my turn to host Sunday Lunch at the Jungalow but my sister's husband Jeff is off to Newcastle to watch a football match so we 3 girls are going out for lunch. A mammy daughters bonding session haha, should be interesting.

So shower, hair, makeup and something nice to wear ahead of the 11.45 pick up. We are going to the Copper Beech so I will have to park the sequined dress for something a bit more downmarket haha.

Copper Beech meal was lovely and good value at £8.95 per head. I had chicken breast with all the trimmings and Sue and mum had Beef. It was very nice and the meat was tender. There was so much beef on mums plate that she asked for a doggy bag. So we left with enough to make her a sandwich for her supper.

After dinner, Sue and I popped into Farmfoods to get some milk and I picked up something for dessert. Milk chocolate gateaux from Cadburys which was very nice indeed.

I am just heading out again now to go visit Ben and the grandkids up in Aycliffe. Whilst I am there I will be able to catch up on how his house sale is progressing.

A couple of weeks ago Ben was trying to get me to start watching Supergirl on Plex, since I have never really been a fan of Superman I thought I would not like this. However, yesterday I put on the pilot episode and hey-presto I am now onto episode 6 of season one haha. I am enjoying it to be honest.
