After the week I have put in I was more than happy to open my eyes this morning and realise that it was Saturday.
Having to be super sensible for most of this week, having to act as though I knew what I was talking about as a governor was very tiring I have to say.
Then coming to the realisation that the smelly Jungalow had some seriously yucky stuff lurking under my kitchen floor, was very stressful.
On the bright side of that revelation, I gained a new dishwasher and made a young couple who were just starting out in their first house happy, by selling them my old but fully functioning dishwasher.
This morning I woke and decided that if Ben came today to try and fix the problem, I would need to be on hand to help so any cleaning I had earmarked for today would have to be done before he came.
So like a whirling dervish I clashed around the Jungalow washing, cleaning, hovering, plumping cushions etc, and by 11 o'clock the place was impressively sparkling haha. It was only then that I thought I would check in on Ben to see what time he was coming around. Long story short, he wasn't coming around today as he was ill in bed, so he will try and come on Tuesday.
Now, what, it was mid-morning and I had sorted out the Jungalow and cleared my schedule for the rest of the day but now had nothing to do. So I went into the garden as the sun was shining and dusted off the garden furniture and the fire pit and placed them outside in the garden ready for the summer. I am just hoping that it is not wishful thinking on my part, and we don't end up, up to our arm puts in snow in a couple of weeks haha.
As you can see the garden is not pristine by a long way and there is a lot of tidying up to achieve but the fact the garden furniture has come out of hibernation is a big step forward.
