Tuesday was defo a day of two halves. First off, I was at my hairdressers getting my barnet sorted, all part of the master plan before the big bash.
So colour upgraded - Tick.
Wash and blow dry booked for the party day - Tick
Party lashes booked - Tick
Hairstyle reinstated - disaster!!!!!!
After telling my hairdresser that I didn't want much off the length I was horrified to find that she had gifted me a bloody helmet.
Taking the actual slope off my bob and flattening it, not good. She then used straighteners on my hair a definite no-no for me, so now I had a flat helmet. As soon as I got home it was straight into the bathroom to wet it and restyle, at least I felt a little happier when I had blown it into its style. The only saving grace is that I have 5 weeks before my party, so hopefully, it will have settled and maybe grown slightly - you can but hope haha.
Now onto Tuesday afternoon, and things defo got better. I attended my dentist who promptly screwed in my new implant teeth, he then xrayed them to see if they were sitting correctly and discovered a filling lurking so he filled that whilst he was on, next he prepped my discoloured tooth for its new sparkly crown and filled, straightened and bonded my low teeth. On my next visit on the 18th of April, he will fit the new crown and straighten and bond my top teeth, then my dear readers I will have a smile to die for whilst chewing my steak haha. However, as my lead picture suggests after the hour I was in the seat and the introduction of the 4 new teeth, I felt like I was trialling teeth for Red Rum haha. It will take a while for me to get used to having teeth again.
On Wednesday morning, Sarah and I, along with Dave the labrador, had arranged to go on our little walk. However, this week I was looking after Frank so he came to.
Sarah was worried that Dave wouldn't take to Frank as being such a big dog he is very wary of little dogs.
As you can see from this shot Dave and Frank got on very well, that is until we returned home, where Dave had zoomies and got very excited and poor Frank got trampled under foot haha.
Frank sought sanctuary on my knee but Dave was too excited to settle so Sarah decided that it was time to go.
My new roof is progressing at pace. All the old tiles have now been stripped off and all the new felt and batons are in place. The side of the roof and the bit that sticks out from the main building, which is my bedroom, has now also got its new tiles on and looks very smart. Which now just leaves the big job of the back and front of the main roof.
Thursday, was the second crafting session I was hosting for u3a in town. Today we were making quilted Easter Egg baubles. As you can see the ladies excelled themselves and produced a lovely variety of eggs. After the session, a few of us went to Maggies in Duke Street for our lunch.
Another dose of mindless trivia for you haha
You are looking for the ladies' key this week.
