I have to say these Mondays come round at an alarming rate haha.
Plus the fact that in 3 days it is April, yes nearly one quarter of the year spent already.
Today has been a very none day for me. After the school run, not a lot happened for the rest of the day.
This afternoon I had to go through to Aycliffee to pick Ben's children up from school and bring them back to my house. As Harry and Leighton were also in residence I knew I was in for a hard time.
I was not disappointed as the four of them started to play kill the zombie in the jungalow. I retreated to the craft room and shut the door, working on the assumption that when they got sick of playing this particular game I would wield the nana stick for them to tidy up and it worked a treat.
I was in such a pickle with the noise etc that I forgot to keep an eye on the time and before I knew it it was 20 to 6 and I was late to pick the mother unit up and take Sarah's boys home. Of course, when I did pick her up there was hell on again.
Over the last few weeks, the orange tree in my conservatory has undergone a transformation quietly doing its thing and it is now in full flower. These flowers look very pretty but the scent from them is vile, which is such a shame as visually it is stunning. Judging by the number of flowers this year I think I will be in for a good crop of oranges.
Even had an unwelcomed visitor (see the last picture)
