    PHEW.... and breath.......

This week has been relatively mild, temperature-wise but quite windy.

Each morning it has been either raining, frosty or windy.

So it was lovely one day this week to wake up to the sky looking like this - stunning.

So my first festive event this week was hosting a party at the Jungaow for the neighbours. It is something I have done every Christmas for the last five years. It is a great occasion and most of the neighbours trot along to enjoy a festive buffet and lashings of lemonade - oh hang on that's an Enid Blyton Famous Five reference - meant to say lashings of wine haha. It was hilarious as 24 of us squashed into my kitchen around the island.

The following day it was Christmas part two when Sue and Jeff came for an early Christmas Lunch and presents, ahead of them jetting off to Thailand to spend Christmas and New Year with Leanne, Neil and Jack. We had a full-on three-course festive dinner, then it was time to open our presents. I got a very fetching sparkly shower cap, a snuggly night dress, a vase, a condiment set some smellies a conveyor belt and a cuddly toy oh dear I am off again with silly references haha, I didn't get the cuddly toy or the conveyor belt. Jeff was thrilled with his insect hotels and garden stool and Sue was in her element with her puzzles and bits and bobs.

Fast forward to Tuesday and Sarah, Nikki and I jumped on the train to York to visit the Christmas Markets. I have to say, we did a canny few bars before hitting the markets and had lunch at The Cosy Club. As you can see we sampled many drinks in a variety of places haha. We finally ended up in Thors Teepee for lasties before the train home. Don't get me wrong I didn't just consume alcohol I did buy some lovely bits and bobs off the market.

Here is the solution to last week's puzzle to find the bucket and spade.

Did you manage to find it?
