Not babies anymore.....

I promise I will not fill my blogs from now on with little Frank. Even though he is super cute and has in his very short life thus far had many many many pictures taken of him.

Having said that I wanted to share with you this delightful picture of Frank trying out his new ramp which enables him to get to places his little legs won't carry him.

To be fair he probably will not be able to get to many places when he is fully grown being as he is a miniature dash hound haha.

This week saw the return to school for my grandkids. Whilst the younger 2 are still in primary school, Robyn is in Year 4 and Leighton, believe it or not, is now a Year 6. The other 2 have graduated to secondary school. Dominic starting in Year 7 and Harry moving into Year 8. I am sure you agree they are growing into quite young men.

Felt the need to garden this week. The sun was so nice that I ventured out to do a bit of brutal pruning haha. The forsythia clinging to the side of the kitchen wall was lovely when I moved in 4 years ago but has since become very overgrown and woody. So I took the secateurs to it taking it right back to the ground. It may grow back but I am not too bothered to be fair.

I am making birthday cakes again this week one for Dominic and a small surprise one for Nikki. Their birthdays are a day apart. Doms on Sunday and Nikkis on Monday. I have been invited up to a birthday BBQ on Saturday at Ben's to celebrate both birthdays, looking forward to that. Pictures of that will be in next week's blog.

Over the last 13 days, I have been binge-watching a sci-fi series called The Expanse. I had asked Ben to suggest something that I could watch whilst I was on babysitting duties when Sarah and Lee were in Naples.

He thought it would be right up my street, and he wasn't wrong.

So over those 13 days, I have watched 6 seasons of this programme which is upwards of 60 episodes which took Ben nearly 6 years to watch as he didn't have the benefit of having all seasons already broadcast and saved haha.

So, if, like me, you enjoy a good sci-fi series that has been likened to Game of Thrones for its gory bits and storyline and also made into an Xbox game and play Station game, take a look, you will be hooked. I know I was.

Weekly Brain Teaser

Since it was the first anniversary of the Queen's passing on the 8th I have included this puzzle of the Queen and her beloved corgis. Hidden amongst the corgis are 3 loaves of bread.
