Never a truer word said today. I had a very fitful night's sleep and woke up this morning feeling very under the weather.
I didn't have the luxury of lying in even though it was Saturday, as I was pencilled in to look after Sarah's two boys, whilst she went to Newcastle for a meal with some friends.
To say I have battled today is an understatement. I am now trying Max Strength lemon powders to see if I can at least feel better enough to get through the rest of the day and night. The lucky thing is that apart from spending this evening at Sarah's, the boys and I have been here at the Jungalow for most of the day. To be in one's own surroundings has been great, although I would have loved to crawl into my bed and have a long nap.
It s not the dreaded Covid just a nasty head cold, so I am predicting that after a good night's sleep I will wake up feeling more like myself.
I put a chicken korma in the crockpot this morning and I have just served it up with rice for our teas. Leighton virtually inhaled it, Harry however thinks I was trying to poison him haha. Whatever I ant be bothered to argue with him haha.
So today's blog is short and sweet on account that I have not the energy to write anymore.
