Okay, I told you about my two lovely grandchildren coming to have a sleepover with their nana.
Well, it all went to plan, we had a lovely evening kicking off with the proceedings with several games then pizza followed by popcorn as we settled down to watch a movie.
The movie of choice last night was the remake of Space Jam with Le Bron James in it. As I hadn't seen the first version of this film I was very sceptical about viewing this one. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun pointing out the different characters and celebrities in the crowd scene. So if you haven't watched it, it is well worth a look-see. After the film finished the children were ready to go to bed. So after reading them my favourite story Six Dinner Sid the lights were put out and I didn't hear another peep from them.
Now have you ever had that feeling that there is a presence in your close proximity. Well, this morning I was in a warm snuggly place somewhere between sleep and awake when I got the feeling of a presence. As I turned over I swear to god I nearly had a heart attack as Robyn had snook into my room like a ninja and was standing silently next to my bed waiting until I woke up haha.
So this morning was spent helping Dominic with his homework, which was quite challenging haha and getting a range of craft supplies out for Robyn to make a Halloween mask out of a paper plate and giant google eyes. Ben and Nikki turned up around 11 o'clock to rescue me before Sarah arrived to take me to sign some additional papers at the Mini garage in Stockton.
Well, that has been my day really. I am now going to be settling down to watch Strictly Come Dancing. Tomorrow I am hosting Sunday Lunch again so another early start to get that sorted and on the table for 1 o'clock.
