Well, here we are at the end of yet another week, it is now three weeks since the big man came which seems ages ago.
Of course, I have started prep for next year, buying cards and Christmas paper in the sales that sort of thing haha.
Yesterday the blog was full of the stinky Jungalow, although I am no further forward to solving said smelliness, Ben came as promised today and took the kickboards off under the sink and loosened the sink trap, so in a little while I will be girding my loins to go into the kitchen to have a look.
Whilst Ben was here he fitted my new ring doorbell, took my large box of Christmas upstairs ready to be stored until next Christmas, swapped the large chandelier in my bedroom for a newer much more appropriately sized one, took the failed dawn till dusk bulb out of my Narnia lampost so that I could order a new one and took down the Chrismas lights from the gutter around my bedroom window, so all in all a very productive morning.
Today was my turn to host Sunday Lunch for Sue Jeff and the mother unit. We had a lovely chicken dinner with all the trimmings and a catch up before they left around 3 o'clock.
When I was down at Sarah's on Thursday we were discussing the drinking of water throughout the day. I was telling her that I certainly didn't drink enough. She then told me about a motivational water bottle that holds 2.2L, the idea is that you drink the full bottle over the day. Along the sides of the bottle are motivational phrases that are meant to keep you on track. Anyway, it is one bottle instead of the 6 x 500ml bottles I have been using and filling so should be easier. I have sliced cucumber into the water as I am rather partial to cucumber flavoured water. As you can see it is a sizeable bottle which just to say sits in the door of the fridge.
