Okay, a delicate topic to broach today. The lucky ones out there who do not snore are truly blessed, I am not one of them and it has been reported that I sound like miss piggy. For many years I blamed David for the snoring antics of the Hullah Family. A number of years ago I found an app called Snore Lab. Basically, you switch it on on your mobile before you go to sleep and it records your sleeping activity during the night. I have to say it is quite an eye-opener to hear the playback the next day. The app is categorised into quiet, light, loud and Epic snoring. As you can imagine what the Epic recordings are like, so the Miss piggy reference is, I am afraid, very apt, sorry David it was both of us who would attempt to lift the ceiling each night haha. With this in mind, I have purchased many different remedies over the years and this is my latest. So I will be trialling this mini CPAP device tonight, whilst recording to see if it makes any difference so watch this space.
This morning I was up bright and early, as I was due in school with my governor hat on. It is the first time that we have been able to get into school to do any kind of learning walks during the COVID lockdown, we have been working hard on Teams and Zoom but they do not really cut it for me, so this morning, when I went into school, it was amazing, a fantastic buzz from the children and staff alike. Our focus today was to observe children reading and writing across the 3 key stages. I thoroughly enjoyed being in the classroom again. Plus there was a very nice lunch thrown in for good measure.
My builder came back with a very good price for my new kitchen so we have agreed on a start date on the 5th of April. He will start then by lowering the ceiling, re-routeing electrics and plumbing, with an aim to having everything ready for the kitchen fitter to start in the middle of April. So hopefully by the end of April, my Jungalow shuffle will be complete.
