Merry Christmas to you all

Well, this last week has been a whirlwind to say the least.

I have had something going on every single day and now as we approach New Years Eve, I am defo feeling my age haha.

So lets begin.

Here you find me on Christmas Morning in my festive leisure outfit having spent Christmas Eve with Ben, Nikki and the kids and of course wee Frank.

The kids had woken the household up at 5 oclock and were super excited. What ensued was a frenzy of present opening and the tradtional treasure hunt for that special gift that mum and dad brought the

kids not Santa.

I sat patiently al-be-it fascinated as the morning unfolded. I was eventually presented with my gifts, a fab log storage unit for my new stove and a brand new hand mixer. I bought young Frank a cosy banana shaped bed which he took to immediately haha. When all present were opened and the ensuing detritis cleared away I was stunned to find out that it was still only 8 oclock in the morning, I felt as though I had done a full day shift already haha. On Christmas Eve Ben and Nikki had made a delicious Butter Chicken with coconut rice.

Christmas morning, I travelled back to Darlington to spend the day with Sarah, Lee and the boys, however, I made a quick pit stop off at my Sister Sues to exchange presents and partake in my first bucks fizz of the day. It was really niceto see Leanne as she was visiting from Thialand with Jack for Christmas

Then it was off down to Sarahs for the rest of the day and night. Sarah had prepared a fab 4 course meal and I was offered pink champagne with real gold flecks in it, well you couldnt really refuse that could you it would have been so so rude. After lunch the party games started. So another brilliant day.

Early doors on Boxing Day I crept out of Sarahs leaving them still in bed and made my way back to the Jungalow. Why the skulking around you may ask, well later that afternoon I was hosting my Boxing Day buffet open house and as I had been out for the previous couple of days I had a lot todo before my guests started arriving. When Dom and Robyn discovered the new log burner they took up residence on the rug in front of it haha.

Moving on to Thursday I travelled with Mike and Jonica down to Leeming Bar to partake in the gang Christmas bit of a do. It was an action packed couple of days which included a master class in Botanicals at Masons Disterllery, a wonderful 3 course meal back at the hotel with party games and then on Friday a trip on the Polar Express train from Leeming Bar to Leyburn. After spending a little time on retail therapy we all met up in the Golden Lion for soup and sandwiches.

So after a fab couple of days the Class of 2023 posed for a group photo.

So here we are at the end of a very busy week rushing head long into New Years Eve which I am spending at a posh glitter and sparkle party at Sarah and Lees. No doubt there will be a report of the event next week.

Different brain teasers to start the new year. In each picture you will have to find 6 hidden words.

Good Luck
