Here are a few fun facts that I am sure you will be trying as you read haha.
After staying down at Sarah's on Friday night I was really looking forward to climbing into my own bed last night. However, I got to binge-watching the final season of Supergirl and ended up going to bed around 2 o'clock this morning. To say I am a little jaded today is an understatement.
So today has been a very casual day. I cooked a small gammon joint which I took around to the mother unit this afternoon and went through all the stuff for tomorrow checking I had everything ready for our Christmas get together tomorrow at Blackwell Grange. All now in order just need to get on with the festivities.
It was my turn to host Sunday Lunch today, but my sister was off to Beamish Museum with her daughter-in-law's family and her husband was off up to Newcastle to the match. Which left mum and me for lunch.
As mum is still not completely recovered from her bad cold infection last week I decided that I would take Sunday Lunch to her. As I have already mentioned I cooked a small gammon and took that to her. She is still not 100% as you may tell from the pictures, and her appetite is still affected so a low key lunch was in order. Gammon, new potatoes and garden pies, followed by a mince pie.
