Lots of comings and goings this week....

On Thursday I had an appointment at a new nail bar.

I had wanted to move away from iNails for a while but couldn't find anywhere I was happy with.

Enter Cheryl Nails in the building that used to be Lamb's toyshop in the village.

I gave a product called BIAB (Bi Abb) a go, it is builder gel which is applied to your own nails. Apparently, it is much better than acrylic or false nails so we will see. Initial results are promising but I will reserve judgement until they have been on for a few weeks.

Two weeks ago I was commissioned to make an anniversay cake for Magnet Kitchens. They were celebrating being in their current building for ten years.

After taking photographs of the outside of the building and having them printed on icing sheets I was all set.

I delivered the cake to Magnet on Tuesday morning in time for the celebrations to begin. The cake was very well received and I received great acolades from the manager who actually said it looked too good to cut haha.

This last week I have been on babysitting duties whilst Lee and Sarah were in Ibzia. So I have been sleeping at Sarah's and then after the school run I have been returning home to the Jungalow to start my day, then back on the run at 3.30. Over the week we have eaten in and one night we had the obligatory McDonalds but on Thursday night we took ourselves off to The Copper Beech. The boys ordered burgers and chips and I had fish and chips. But it wasnt until the burgers had arrived that we realised that they were massive, 24 oz burgers to be accurate haha. But I have to say the boys polished them off no worries.

A couple of Thursdays ago, when I was down at Sarah's for my tea, she decided to make some popcorn for us to enjoy whilst watching a film.

Long story short, she burnt the popcorn which left not only the house smelling but the microwave as well.

So whilst I was down there this week, I took my Angry Mama microwave cleaner with me to sort out the smelly microwave.

A small amount of vinegar, water and a squeeze of lemon in Angry Mama in the microwave for 7 mins and jobs a goodun.

A couple of weeks ago I was telling you about my golden envelope from the Postcode lottery, well in subsequent weeks I have won more cash prizes (only a tiny amount

of £10 x 2 ) but last week I won prizes and they arrived on Friday. I chose a tinned candle from St Eval in Cornwall and a pair of fancy oven mitts. Just waiting for a biggy win now haha.

This week's brain Teaser. How many animals can you see in the picture?

Did you work out what was wrong with the chicken?
