I have been researching log stores for my new entertaining space, to store all of the logs which I have saved from cutting down the trees in the corner of my garden.
I had decided on a pyramid-shaped one which would cost me about £135.
However, on Facebook Marketplace my sister found a friend of hers selling the self-same log store that he had made himself for £55.
To me, it was a no-brainer. So this morning around 10oclock I headed out to pick said log store up. I absolutely love it and it will take pride of place next to the fire pit in the new space.
I have had a full-on day in the babysitting stakes today. I had Robyn delivered at 8.15 this morning as Ben, Nikki and Dominic were en route to a football tournament and Leighton and Harry at 12.45 when Sarah and Lee were going to a private garden party. A part they are fine, but together they are horrendous haha. The two younger ones had a great time playing on a very small child's bike that I found lurking at the back of the garage this morning until Leighton was stung by a bee on his hand. I am assuming that it was a bee as the sting was still in his hand. He is fine but I had to break into my holiday supplies to find something to treat it with.
Robyn just loves cleaning so this morning she set to work cleaning a set of very dirty shelves from the garage which I had moved into the new shed. Then between us, we started to populate the new shed with things from the old garage. I am nearly there with sorting the things I want to keep, so first thing Monday I will be making a good few tip runs.
There are only a few more bits and pieces to go in the new shed then I will be able to see the full size of the proposed garage space.
