Had a different start to my day this morning.
Oh I was still on the school run, but Sarah had to be at work early doors and I didn't think I wanted the children dropping off at 7.15, so I agreed to go down and pick them up and deliver them in time for school.
Well that worked out quiet well really, the traffic wasn't to bad and I was able to navigate down and back in record time.
So boys dropped off and Harry pep talked to within an inch of his life, today being the last SAT's paper, and I am heading off home and it is still only 8.55am.
Over the last few weeks I have been on the receiving end of a fair few brownie points and today saw another huge deposit of points into my account haha. I told you the other day that mum had bought a new bed, well I got a text message to say that they would be delivering it today. As the delivery men were also going to assemble the bed that was not a problem. The problem came when I realised that the old bed was still very much in place in mums bedroom. A quick call to Jeff my brother-in-law and we soon had the bed in pieces and stored in the garage just as the delivery men arrived. I helped mum fill the drawers under the bed and then remade it before heading off home, in the sure knowledge that those prized points were mine.
I had taken photographs of the bed ready for putting it on Facebook Marketplace which I did when I returned home. I was able to ring mum late afternoon with the news that I had sold the bed so Kerching more points.
I had a visit from my good friend Liz this lunchtime. She had just finished work and was calling by to borrow some number punches for a cake project she was involved with.
And that folks has been my day, lots of bity things but I have to confess that I became a couch potato this afternoon.
I sat down to eat my lunchtime sandwich and was flicking channels, as you do, when I came across this film called Iceastrophe it was about a meteor that had broken in half and the cold half was causing everyone to freeze instantly. It was one of those mind numbing films that you just had to keep watching haha.
Tonight I will again be going to Sarahs for my tea and then on to pick the mother unit up at her sisters. Luckily tonight I am able to give the basketball training a miss as Harry has declared that he is to tired after his SAT's papers to train haha.
