And that folks is my problem haha.
This morning I did decide to clean my conservatory, I have for some time now thought that it could be better laid out.
First thing this morning It was difficult to see the garden because one of my large-leafed plants blocked a lot of the view. So a bit of artful repositioning of these plants (I have 2) and the moving of the orange tree (which has gotten over the sickly sweet blossom stage and is now got numerous tiny oranges on it) made the room look less cluttered and afforded an unobstructed view of the garden.
However, I would be the first to tell you that I find housework/cleaning boring and I kept looking outside at the garden, which was beckoning me out.
I stuck at cleaning the conservatory until lunchtime. I made myself a corned beef and brown sauce sandwich and a cuppa and went to catch up with any emails that had come through.
Well, I am afraid that was it, I no longer had the impetus to continue in the conservatory, luckily for me, I had actually finished moving plants and furniture so I didn't feel too bad.
So I decided that I would go and plant the petunias which I had purchased at B&M yesterday when out with the mother unit.
However, I had forgotten to water them last night and today when I went out to begin planting they were less than fresh.
In fact, they were limp and laid about. It took the devil's own job to get them out of their black plastic tray, but after a battle, I managed to get them into the ground. I gave them a soaking and I now have my fingers crossed that they will recover. If they do they will look lovely in a couple of weeks' time.
When I bought them I was sure that they had a good number of red white and blue plants in the trays so my plan was to plant these together to make a little patriotic display. When I actually got down to it there were only 2 blue 2 red and 1 white haha, the rest were pink and purple, but I still put the red white and blue ones together so we will see.
