Just eat cake!!!!

That folks is very good advice, however, I feel as though I will have to share the cake I have made for Sarah this afternoon. After all, it wouldn't look good presenting her with a birthday cake and then proceeding to eat it all haha.

So I am ready to start my very sociable day. Hair silvered, really impressed with the silver shampoo, showered and dressed suitably smart, both sets of cards and presents ready to go, now all I need is to be picked up by my sister for the celebrations to begin.

We had a lovely Sunday Lunch at the Copperbeech pub, with Susan being again spoiled with cards and presents. Apart from Leanne's son Jack, it was a girlie affair as the men had chosen to go to football matches haha.

Of course, Susan was not too thrilled to be reunited with her 70th Birthday balloon, from last week, but Leanne had kept it safe just for today haha.

Sarah at 35 had declared that she was, in her words "Haggard to Chuff" and wouldn't have a birthday picture taken. So this is the little cake I made her instead. I bought her a rather nifty hot water bottle which is horseshoe-shaped and is made for the neck, she loved that but Harry soon claimed it as he did the long thin hot water bottle I bought her as a stocking filler at Christmas. So why do I buy her these unusual hot water bottle you may ask. Well, bless her she has arthritis and a B12 deficiency which results in her being racked with aches and pains hence the unusual hot water bottles.

I will be going back down to Sarahs later so that she can go out for a birthday drink with Lee.

I was sitting the other night and there was an almighty crash coming from the bathroom. On closer investigation the telescopic shower tidy had collapsed under the weight of my shampoo bottles etc and had crashed to the floor. So I ordered another more suitable shower caddy and after some assembly it is now in pride of place in the shower cubicle.

Sarah has just relented and has sent me a couple of birthday portraits, as you can see she is looking not at all haggarded. They are having a birthday tea at the Famhouse pub.
