This morning I woke with a sense of purpose. The new kitchen build was nearing its conclusion and the long-awaited delivery of the quartz island top would be this afternoon.
But first I had to get through the morning before the quartz excitement could start.
At 11 o'clock I went off to my dentists again for another fitting of my mini denture. I hope that I will be able to get away with it as it would make so much difference to finally have bottom teeth to chew with. For the past couple of years, I have been nibbling like a rabbit haha, much to the annoyance of my two children.
Around 2 o'clock I had an early birthday visitor, Rita, we sat in the glorious sunshine and chatted for about an hour. As you can see she brought me a lovely twin plant pot with fuchsia and a Gerber in. Thank you so much. It was nice to see her in the flesh after so long.
So here we are at the end of the third week and I am happy to say I can see the finish line. The construction of the new kitchen will be done today and then there is a few odds and sods that Alan will do next week to make the Jungalow ready for the new flooring.
So Antolini Quartz from Verona - Invisible Dark gorgeous.
