For the last week, I have had small migraines.
This is a bit disconcerting for me as I have not had a migraine for at least 2 years. Oh don't get me wrong they are not at all like the debilitating episodes I used to get which took me to bed for 2 or 3 days, or on one occasion in hospital for three days, more like a disturbance of sight which is associated with migraine, which doesn't develop. Just annoying I was trying to think about what it could be that triggered it, I came up with
1) sun on my head yesterday
2)Dehydration (this is my favourite suspect as I have not been drinking enough)
3) my fasting, but been doing this 3 weeks
4) something I ate
5)lack of sleep, slept for 9 hours last night
Anyway this morning I have worked through yet another episode and feel quite tired today. So as I said I have worked through my to-do list to make sure that things are ready and I may have a wee nap to clear my head.
Today is my day to host Sunday Lunch, so all is prepared and I now just await the arrival of Sue and her husband, mum and of course an extra this week in the shape of my Auntie Alice who is up visiting mum from Essex.
We had a lovely lunch and mum and Auntie Alice decided to stay on for the rest of the afternoon whilst Sue and Jeff went home. Sarah arrived and set up an impromptu beauty saloon, so nails eyebrows, gold collagen eye packs all part of the service.
So a really nice relaxing afternoon until the mother unit decided to go for a tour of my garden. All went okay until she fell headfirst on the path. Well, to say I was thankful for her well-appointed tummy was an understatement as it stopped her face planting the path. So what did she fall over||||? - fresh air!!!!!!! I couldn't lift her as she is so heavy and Auntie Alice was not able to either, so I had to wait until she had manoeuvered herself into a position where she could assist me in getting her up by me pulling and her pushing against a small wall. Nightmare!!!!!!!!!
