Was very industrious this morning when I eventually got out of bed.
I had quite a few little jobs to do out in the big world this morning, but first I made a batch of cheese scones for Sarah.
I headed out to post-party invitations for mums bit of a do. Then made my way down to Sarah's, I had taken her my scales so that she could have her 2nd weight in, I was quite jealous as she had lost 4lbs in weight, after the weigh-in we sat down to a fresh cheese scone haha.
Later I ended up at the mother units house, again delivering cards around the little grove she lives in.
This afternoon after doing a little bit of tidying up I ventured into the craft room, at first it was only to tidy up and fill a new storage cabinet I had bought, but then I found a carrier bag on the table with a shirt in it.
Now before Christmas, my good friend Liz had asked me to make a memory bear for her new grandson Rufus. As I had made her first granddaughter Bella one a few years ago I readily agreed.
So we had agreed that I would make a start on it after Christmas, so today was the day. I love it when the shirts I am given have unusual designs, labels etc on them it makes for interesting bears. As you can see I have made reasonable progress this afternoon and said Teddy bear will be ready to wing its way to London where little Rufus lives by the beginning of next week.
So watch this space for the completed bear.
