This morning was a defo call of duty.
The mother unit's monthly hospital appointment at the eye clinic had come around again.
At this moment in time, I seem to be the only one taking her to these appointments. Not that Sue hasn't offered it just that mum has decided that I will be taking her. Sue steps up to the plate if I ever cant take which is all good. So usually these trips can last anything up to 3 hours depending on the numbers attending the clinic and of course what treatment mum requires after her examination. This morning I was all set for the long haul mum had not had an injection into her eye for a good few months and was overdue, so I took my kindle and settled down on the landing outside the clinic to wait. Surprisingly this mornings appointment only took one hour, so thanks all around.
Yesterday I mentioned the deco mesh wreaths that Daves cousin had been to a masterclass to learn. I have managed to get a couple of pictures of said wreaths for you to look at. So I will be asking again about running a masterclass at the beginning of December so keep your eyes peeled.
However, last night there was a knock on my door and Daves cousin was there, she had brought me the pink wreath as a present for making her the wool felted owl. I am sure you will agree it looks stunning. I have purchased some Deco Mesh in Christmas colours like elf green, red, silver that sort of thing so you can imagine they will look brilliant.
I had a phone call from the Nissan garage this morning confirming my test drive tomorrow morning at 9.30. Hopefully, I will like what I see and drive so that I will be able to complete the purchase of my new Micra Tekna fingers crossed.
