I have to say I had a brilliant nights sleep compared to the one before haha, mind you that wouldn't be difficult.
Was actually woken around 7,30 with a barrage of text messages from my cousin's daughter Sophie. Over the past few months, I have been designing and printing her wedding invitations and orders of service. Today we had gotten to the point where I could complete the table settings. But all are done and laminated now so it is just the wedding cake to make a start on and then I can sit back and enjoy the wedding. Mum and I have been invited and we will be staying overnight at the Morritt Arms at Geta Bridge, which will be nice as I will be able to enjoy myself without having to worry about driving home.
So, today I have been entertaining Ben, Robyn and Dominic for a full-on Sunday lunch but on Monday haha. Ben was expecting a sandwich and was pleasantly surprised when he sat down to lunch with all the trimmings followed by an apple sponge in a salted caramel sauce, with lashing of custard.
Whilst Ben was here he completed most of the big TV installation and move. There is still the upstairs TV to sort out then we are done. He moved my 49" TV into my bedroom to make way for the 55" 4K beast I now have in my lounge, I have to say the picture is stunning and it is like having a home cinema haha.
Lastly Ben took the cooker hood apart to see if he could source where the flies had been coming from. You may remember I mentioned the flies in my blog earlier on last week. Well, we couldn't see any evidence of animals getting in but there was a substantial amount of flies inside the motor which Ben vacuumed out. So we are all back to normal now.
