I have to say I have eaten and drunk far far far too much over the last 4 days. My daughter in law Nikki has achieved a fantastic weight loss of 3 1/2 stone with Slimmers World. I must seriously get back on track as at the moment I do feel very unfit and certainly like a beached whale.
Well, this morning I slept late and when I actually got up I remember that I had promised myself and my car to Ben for a little extra moving house help.
So at 11 o'clock, I headed off to Aycliffe to fill the back of my car with boxes to ferry them to Bens new house.
I have to say that I would not ever again move my own stuff, been there done that, for me, it would be a removal company without question. But Ben and Nikki decided that they would move themselves, hence my trip there to help today.
This afternoon I continued to clear the Jungalow of the detritus of Boxing Day and finally sat down for lunch at 2 o'clock haha.
At 5 o'clock I was at the mother units picking her up to come to my house for her tea. Yes folks Christmas is defo over and we are back on the mundane treadmill. We had leftovers for tea which mum really loved, as I had a large amount of salmon left she was in her element as she loves salmon so much.
After the festivities of the past few days, I thought that it would be prudent over the next few days to carry out some lateral flow tests, which I started today with a negative result so all good.
My blog is a little late tonight as I have had an ongoing problem with my broadband connection. So much so that I will be phoning Virgin Media tomorrow to request an engineer come out and check things.
