Yet another beautiful day in Darlington.
Woke up at a reasonable time and because I didn't have to make breakfast the process of getting up and ready to take the mother unit shopping was very easy.
So I picked mum up at 9.30 and told her that we would have to be back at 12. That in itself was a challenge. Why did we have to be back for 12 well the final piece of the jigsaw that is my new kitchen is happening today. Yes folks my new blinds are being fitted.
Siesta blinds are the company that is making my blinds and it has taken 4 weeks because I had asked for external tapes as a feature. Anyway, they should be coming this afternoon. I was given an installation window of between 12 and 4, I hate that as you can't plan your day and spend large amounts of time hanging around. That happened today, after racing the mother unit around the shops to be back home by 12 the blind installer didn't rock up until - never. Yep, he never showed, he rang me at 4.30 to say that he would not be coming today. To say I was annoyed was an understatement, I shall be taking it up with the company on Monday as it is closed now until then.
I purchased a new kitchen gadget the other week and liked them so much I purchased a few more. So what are they? Well, they are a cool way to store cleaning products whilst saving space in your cupboards. I have even used one for my tea towel.
My 5-hour eating window is about to open and I am ready for something to eat, it might cool my annoyance. Today has felt a lot better in terms of feeling weak or really hungry. I have purchased a few different herbals teas today so I now have a selection. At the moment my favourite is the lemon and ginger but the forest fruits ones are a close second.
