This morning I ventured to the hairdressers feeling very despondent. My hair looked like a scarecrow and my fringe was down to my knees haha.
Several hours later I emerged feeling like a million dollars, sorry for the Americanism, having had a good cut and the longed-for grey colour refreshed and enhanced.
However, it is a bit of a risk with only a week before the Cretan sun blasts my colour. With that in mind, I have booked my hairdresser for six weeks' time so that she can assess and repair any sun damage.
This afternoon Sue and I went to clear mums garage. She had a lot of things for the charity shop, namely, 3, yes 3, wheelchairs, rugs, electric fires and various other bits. We took them to the St Teresa Hospice charity shop on McMullenRroad and were very thankful that they were willing to take everything we had on board.
I have decided that I will only write a blog when there is something worth reporting. I don't want to bore you with trivial things, although I may be doing that already haha. Hence there was no blog yesterday.
Today when I was searching around on my phone I found a way to write my blog from my phone and publish it so that will come in useful when I am in Crete.
Tonight I am again on babysitting duties as Dominic and Robyn are coming for a sleepover.
Before that, I will be going down to Sarah to partake in suitcase Jenga as we attempt to fit 3 cases in the back of the Micra ahead of our up-and-coming trip. Of course, it will be a mega challenge as the Micras boot is not that big.
