Glamourized nails

I am pretty sure that I am hungry and not bored haha. But only another one and a half hours until my eating window opens, so just have to keep myself busy until then.

I have kept myself going today with plenty of black coffee with my salted caramel syrup in I told you about and water.

This morning I was up on the alarm again as I had arranged to meet Sarah at 8.50 in the centre of the town to go and get our nails done at i-nails Express in Bondgate. As you can see I have gone pink chrome and glittery ring fingers but the big difference this time is that they are my own natural nails which had grown sufficiently to have overlays, which are much better than tips.

Sarah went for white and natural I-nails which she had the nail technician paint a cowhide design on. Looked very nice but defo not my cuppa tea, but as they say each to his own. Whilst we were in town and after we had had our nails glamourized, we trotted along to Boots to have a look at some false eyelashes for our family outing next Saturday. So I am now the proud owner of some natural looking lashes which Sarah will apply for me.

When I returned from the mother units house yesterday and after the debacle trying to get someone at her doctors to answer the phone I decided that I would fill in an e-consult after all. So this afternoon mum rang to ask why a box of flucloxacillin had turned up on her doorstep. I am assuming that someone at the surgery had read the e-consult and prescribed her the antibiotics, but as yet there has been no call from the doctor to advise me what I should do about keeping the wound covered or uncovered. So I am going with my gut feeling and will keep mums wound covered for at least a couple more days, by which time the antibiotics will have started to do their job.
