I have just had the luxury of a weekend of no alarms, but here is the thing, I have a whole week coming up without the alarm or the children that go with it.
To say I am excited at the prospect of getting up when I actually wake up is an understatement.
I will have Bens two on Thursday as part of my half term commitment but that is okay as I will have the rest of the week free.
Sarah remains poorly. She came home from work on Friday feeling a little under the weather and has not gotten any better over the weekend. She has a temperature, cough headache aching limbs but negative Lateral low tests. We came to the conclusion that she has a very bad cold, not covid and not flu. I have to say she does look rough.
Now a shout out for our dear old Queen, she should have stopped Charles and Camilla visiting her and then she would not have contracted covid. Here's hoping she will be fine. As Ben said she is a tough old bird haha. Here's hoping she pulls through as her 70 years on the throne, her platinum celebrations will be taking place at the beginning of June and should be quite the spectacle.
But I guess even though the palace is saying it is just mild symptoms and the fact she will have the best care money can buy it is always a dodgy wicket when you are 95 years old. So I am doubling my prays tonight as I am not ready to have Charles and Camilla on the throne, in fact, I don't think I ever will be. Perhaps they should bypass Charles and give the throne to William and Kate, some new energetic blood on the throne instead of two crusty old specimens haha. Sorry for being cynical but I really don't rate Charles or Camilla.
Thank goodness the mother unit remains stubbornly in good health, which is brilliant and is looking forward to her party, the one she defo was not going to be having haha.
I have been crafting again this afternoon, it seems the norm for my day at the moment, to be at some point drawing and painting a few baubles, at this rate I will have hundreds done by this Christmas haha.
