Back to normal today. The alarm went off but I was feeling super active, who knew, straight out of bed and into the shower, washed my hair for the first time since the pinkification process and was surprised to see that very little of the colour actually washed out. So dried hair and dressed all in time for the boys to arrive at 8.00 - result.
After dropping the boys off at school I decided that I would make a start on packing my case or at least deciding what I am going to be taking down to Southwell at the end of the week. I had to keep reining in my excitement as at one point I had at least 6 different outfits ready to go in the case. I actually only need 3 and a couple of extra jumpers haha. So I am set with what I am taking, all that is left to do is pack my jewellery, toiletries, shoes and nightclothes. This afternoon I researched the route and decided that 115miles is defo doable, I must emphasise at this point that I don't really like driving long distances.
I have some governor training tonight from 5.30 until 7 so the mother unit is having to fend for herself for her tea. Then at 7.15 Sue will bring her here for our weekly game of cards. In preparation for this event, I was excited to actual bake on my quartz top. I made cheese and onion scones. It was excellent rolling out on the smooth surface, and afterwards, it cleaned up so easy.
