El Scorchio

Well, the sun shone down today defo El Scorchio. At one point it was 28 degrees.

I have spent most of the day in the garden tidying up around the place Ben and I took out the bay hedge.

But of course, my day wouldn't be mine if there wasn't a little something else to report.

So here goes, at 9 o'clock this morning I went to flash my boobs to a very nice young man at our surgery. To be technically correct it wasn't my boobs per se, but the naughty mole that has decided to change its appearance which is lurking under the boob. Anyway, he took a photo, not what you think, I wasn't pouting or anything haha. then he attached a magnifying lens to his camera, again no funny business. Actually, it is a neat service which our surgery has tapped into, the photos are sent to the hospital Dermatology Department and the consultant has a better look and advises the surgery if there is anything to worry about or follow up. So we wait to see.

Then I got an emergency call from the mother unit NOT really. But to her it was urgent, I had given her some curtains and she needed them hanging up in her dining room immediately. As I had to pick the scarifier up for Sarah I popped around. Half an hour later I returned home, dining room curtains hung and scarifier safely tucked in my mother's garage still. I will have to return tomorrow to pick it up.

Now back to the garden, I am absolutely shattered, second shower of the day hasn't done much other than clean me, now a bath would be lush, for my aches and pains. Have accomplished a lot today as you can see from the photos, I actually discovered a compost bin hidden in the corner of the soft fruit patch - bonus.

I am now trying to dig out the tree root so that I can knock down the wall to enable a flat base to be constructed for the new shed.
